Dear Friedrich, Yes, I am considering the idea of making a bugfix release (probably named 0.4.8.1 to indicate bugs only, no significant new features), given how much time has elapsed. But given how busy I am these days, I'm not sure you can count on it immediately. So if you don't see anything coming soon, it could also be a good idea to rebase the debian package on upstream -- or just including a couple of specific bugfixes, the important ones being commits #2663ec (allow wacom tablet to report zero pressure, bug #136), #e03ebd/#78d964 (export to PDF and printing: fix resolution loss), and perhaps #c34acb (fix crash in ps/pdf bitmap background import via ghostscript).
