Hi,

Regarding issue with Siliconmotion chip sets and Linux drivers.

I'm working with the LynxEM+ chipset, and haven't encountered any major
problems specific to the driver, although I do see places where it can be
improved.

Now, I'll state my original question again:

I was told by someone at Siliconmotion that someone out there had done at
least a partial implementation of 180 degree rotation on for the smi_driver
for XFree86.

Does anyone know anything about this? Who made the changes? Where they are
available? The maintainer of the SMI code tree never got the changes!!

I can do my own implementation, but if I can avoid re-inventing the wheel
it will save me a fair amount of time.

Thanks,
Burt
