Hi, miles, thx for ur help, but I still have a few more questions...

1) I don't have the specs for my monitor because it is a second hand monitor
and I don't have the information
2) When I run Xconfigurator, after passing the first screen (by pressing
ENTER), it has core dump... that's why I have to manually edit the
xf86Config file.

Can you help? Thx
