natively? you mean without specifying a driver and chipset in the config file? I'm not sure why I cant get 4.2.0 to work with my machine, even with the new drivers...I'm not the only one having this problem so its less likely that I somehow goofed! the "vesa" driver seems to work the best, is there a was I can force the modelines without having to wait for them to be included in the driver! (that's assuming I can determine the modelines! not sure hot to do that either!) I have a Toshiba machine with the same chipset and screen size. A 1400x1050 modeline needs to be compiled into the driver. I plan to start messing around with that more seriously once 4.2.0 debian packages show up. -pete -- (peter.royal|osi)@pobox.com - http://pobox.com/~osi jabber/ [EMAIL PROTECTED] - icq/ 153025 - aim/ osifx - yahoo/ osi_fx your brain on life - http://fotap.org - incubating _______________________________________________ Xpert mailing list [EMAIL PROTECTED] http://XFree86.Org/mailman/listinfo/xpert
