I'm convinced it is not!  I changed everything back to [IP]:0.0 and it
still gives me a problem.  It has to be some file that won't allow the
change from :0.0 to :0.

Is there something I can change manually that will override the
problem?

Kernel 2.2.19 will no work with 4.x.
