hi anybody,
i have freebsd 4.5, xfree86 3.3.6_10 compiled for freebsd from ports
collection (i run make install on the package that i want to build and
thats it) source code fetched from official ftp XFree86, and mouse behavior
is almost fine, both console and GUI, i have KDE 2.2.2_3 and as graphics
designer i run the gimp. i'm from linux trying to switch to freebsd, but it
is a must for me to have a well working system stable and probed. (right now
i have a dual boot system -linux/freebsd- tux for working and freebsd for
make all woking fine system),this is my problem:

when i click and hold left mouse button for drag pointer with 'rectangle
tool' for selects an area (*ANY* image manipulation program) or try to move
a window (same way: click and hold left mouse button for drag pointer ) my
pointer not engage that window if i move my mouse pointer fast. if i want to
select an rectangle area with 'rectangle tool' of *ANY* image manipulation
program, my rectangle start draw more or less away form the point where i
click and hold left
mouse button, that converts a graphical design task very imprecise and buggy
(i think may be is a configuration trick that my system needs). my past
freebsd version (4.4) was same, i blank my freebsd 4.4 partition (to avoid
heritage, because i dont know how to wipe this mouse behavior) and do an
install not an upgrade.

i was thinking about maybe is KDE and i deinstall KDE, and install XFCE ,
same mouse behavior.

please help, any idea, where can i go for found info?

thanks,
jehova
