I am using a self-made toolchain. But this toolchain was able to compile a
working older Xfree-Snapshot (xc-011010.tar.bz2 from
http://intimate.handhelds.org/jacques/). The touchscreen is working with this
snapshot, so I think my toolchain is working correctly. I also compiled a lot
of other stuff with this toolchain (i.e.: python2.2) and it's working
flawlessly.

I built my cross-compiling toolchain with the 2.4.17 kernel and I have not
updated the header files since then.

#define KDriveXServer YES
#define KdriveServerExtraDefines -DITSY -DMAXSCREENS=1
#define TinyXServer YES
#define XfbdevServer YES
#define CrossCompiling YES
#define TouchScreen YES
#define ItsyCompilerBug YES
#define BuildRandR YES
#define ProjectRoot /usr/X11R6

I also made some path-changes to the cross.def because my toolchain is
installed in /usr/local/arm-linux

2.4.17 with the rmk4 patches.
