It doesn't even work without the handhelds patches. I HAVE the patches from Handhelds org included. Sorry, I forgot to mention them. But I can't remember which version. Maybe 2.2.17-rmk4-hh2. But i can try to use a more recent version if you think this can be the reason of failure. Maybe this is also useful: If I create a symbolic link from /dev/h3600_ts to /dev/mouse Xfree is segfaulting as soon as I touch the screen. Without this link the touchscreen is doing nothing as I described before. And it looks like Xfbdev has an option called "-mouse". Don't know exactly how to use the other parameters of this option but using "-mouse /dev/h3600_ts" shows the same behaviour as creating the /dev/mouse-symlink, it's segfaulting on the first touch (The sentence "Hey! Don't touch my iPAQ!" has a new meaning ;-). The older Xfree-snapshot I used doesn't need any options or symlinks, the touchscreen is working immediately. - -- Bye, K <http://www.ailis.de/~k/> [A735 47EC D87B 1F15 C1E9 53D3 AA03 6173 A723 E391] (Finger [EMAIL PROTECTED] to get public key) -----BEGIN PGP SIGNATURE----- Version: GnuPG v1.0.6 (GNU/Linux) Comment: For info see http://www.gnupg.org iD8DBQE83/UgqgNhc6cj45ERAh82AJ92/N4PcUQHZVAMnUgMzvXJArGKyQCfUn/T VHE3D1LtRl+gGL0f19Wvz2o= =OdWi -----END PGP SIGNATURE----- _______________________________________________ Xpert mailing list [EMAIL PROTECTED] http://XFree86.Org/mailman/listinfo/xpert
