Hello, I was wondering if there was any way for me to shutdown the intarnal lcd in my sony R505 laptop and only use the external display. The problem that I am having is that I am unable to exceed 1024x768, and I want to run at 1280x1024 for my external lcd monitor. The R505 has an i810 video chip. Does this chip have anything like the extern_disp option of the Neomagic ? Any other known workarounds ?
