Micro$oft could not even come up with their own implementation, they've
licensed the core code from Citrix in the first place AFAIK.

However, note how poorly miccies did they Terminal Service -- it's
limited to 8 bpp, is really slow, unable to transport sound, etc...
The same thing Citrix did gave me far better and pleasant experience.

Miccies just suck.  X is far more mature, and simply better solution.
The *only* thing XFree86 lacks for *me* as FreeBSD user and not Radeon
owner, is poor support for Quake3 :)  But I do not blame XFree people, I
actually do blame nVidia guys, as their MX400 card collects dust on the
bookshelf of mine.  I cannot stop wondering why they do not just go out
and release the specs, bringing a lot more [FreeBSD] people to their
products, but that's a whole different story.
