Hi!
I've got a cyrix medaigx machine and am running rhl 7.1 on it. my problem is that everytime i try to run x, i get an error saying "Screens found but none have a usable configuration". Now, the catch is that when i boot from the linux cd, the install graphical works, when frame buffer is used. on the other hand, if i use the "nofb" option -to disable framebuffer it doesnt work and the system fallsback to the text version. So can someone tell me exactly how i should use framebuffer when i start the xserver using startx? i'd greatly appreciate any help i can get.
