Hi, In addition to the source at http://xrdp.sourcearchive.com/, are there any additional components need to get xrdp 0.5.0 working?
I have a working SuSE 11.3/xrd 0.4.1 (thanks to the OpenSuSE packagers), that is suffering from long standing keyboard problems, so I am attempting to install 0.5.0 on a new box. This is progressing, but I am now stuck at this point: When the client connects to the server, I get the xrdp log in screen. I select the libvnc.so (named sesman-Xvnc), enter a valid user name and password. On selecting OK, the Connection Log (showing at the client) reports a few positive sounding lines, ending with: Connecting to 127.0.0.1 5910 error - problem connecting Clicking on the OK button returns the client to the xrdp logon dialog. Meanwhile, the server SEEMS to be quite happily starting the KDE desktop for that user? Unfortunately the server is keeping it all to itself and not displaying on the client! Comparing the 0.4.1 install with the new 0.5.0, I note two missing components: xorg-x11-server-rdp xrog-x11-server=dmx Are they needed?
