I have installed XRDP on Ubuntu 10.4 LTS with no problem and run multiple remote
sessions from Win7, Vista & XP with no additional configuration, using:

apt-get install xrpd

Unfortunately, even though the graphic desktops work perfectly, many of the
administrative functions cannot be authenticated (ie: they don't prompt for
authentication).

Example, you can’t unlock the Login Screen or Time and Date. When you click on
the ‘unlock’ button, nothing happens. However, running the package manager
prompts for the administrative password, and allows the remote desktop user to
run it.

The sessions are listed in (ck-list-sessions) as:

is-local = FALSE

I suspect this should say TRUE. There are numerous workarounds for various
problems installing XRDP in past versions, but given that the current version
seems to solve most of those problems, I am reluctant to wade into any of those
and try to apply them to this issue.

Any suggestions appreciated.
