I've used xrdp with X11rdp for some time but the clipboard problems
are getting difficult to live with, I cut & paste text between
windows/sessions all the time and sometimes it's almost impossible to
get it to work. As a last resort I've pasted the text into a mail and
sent it to myself in a web e-mail account ... a very slow and
cumbersome "clipboard".

As I understand it, there are three clipboards in X/Gnome/Linux; the
cutbuffer, the "clipboard" selection and the "primary" selection. The
cutbuffer is old and deprecated. The "clipboard" selection is used for
Ctrl+C/V and Copy/Paste menu. The "primary" selection is for mouse
selection and pasting (usually pasted with middle mouse button). There
are some utilities that can synchronize the different clipboards, but
they do not seem to do it perfectly (I haven't tried them all, just
parcellite).

I've noticed that xrdp only seems to support the "clipboard"
selection, i e Ctrl+C/V and Copy/Paste menu. Is that correct?

Are there any plans to extend the functionality in xrdp to support the
"primary" selection too?

Cheers,
Daniel
