Yeah, but on X you do have two clipboards and currently xrdp/X11rdp only sets/listens to one of them, if I understand correctly. I use rdesktop/freerdp to remote control other Linux machines with xrdp/X11rdp and frequently exchange clipboard data between the sessions. >> Best leave the synchronizing of your selections to an application such as: >> autocutsel, gnome-clipboard-daemon, glipper, klipper, xfce-clipman, >> xclipboard, etc. >> >> I've personally had great success with X11rdp + xfce4-clipman >> gnome-clipboard-daemon and xclipboard seemed to work too! I've tried autocutsel and parcellit with limited success. Possibly because of the problems Gustavo has identified with accented characters (although it did work when I tried it). > Buck, brings up a good point. > Should I implement PRIMARY? I can only speak for myself, but if it isn't unreasonably much work to implement I would appreciate if the cut & paste functionality in xrdp/X11rdp was extended to support both clipboards available in X. At the moment I'm mainly using X2Go instead of xrdp/X11rdp because of the clipboard issues. I've found this document that describes the recommended functionality of the available clipboards: http://standards.freedesktop.org/clipboards-spec/clipboards-latest.txt Cheers, Daniel ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ This SF email is sponsosred by: Try Windows Azure free for 90 days Click Here http://p.sf.net/sfu/sfd2d-msazure _______________________________________________ xrdp-devel mailing list xrdp-devel@lists.sourceforge.net https://lists.sourceforge.net/lists/listinfo/xrdp-devel
