I have used plastic bobbins for 10 years and I love them. I put self-adhesive
labels on them, cut to fit. I wrote on the labels with ink. They are just
like new yet and I use them all the time. You can get labels at an office
supply store. I was lucky, my bobbins came with the labels. Try it you will
like it. I have had some cardboard bobbins along the way and they don't last
long at all as far as I'm concerned. I think the envelopes take up too much
