This may turn out to be an interesting subject for discussion.
We could now discuss the "architecture" form of these cardboard bobbins. I
have seen the ones that are made by Coats and Clark. Mine don't look like
that - they are of a soft and thick substance - and they never tear - since I
don't "oil" my hands when stitching - it does not present that problem -
forbid that it ever touches the linen !
the architecture of my bobbins are oblong with two indented triangles at each
end -
