I started with Linen and have never looked back. The Dutch Sampler that was
by third project is not as flat or perfect as my projects now. I railroad,
start from the front and use different flosses and threads such as silks,
metallics, and add charms and beads now. I have also designed my own
scissor case, needle case, scissor fob, pin cushion , chatelaine and border
around my basket in the Dutch motif of course since that is where I was
born. My family came to Canada when I was 7 years old, quite awhile ago
now. I love to do the more traditional patterns like the antique samplers.
I also did a Lanarte birth announcement that was 24" x 25" it was just
beautiful and worth the 9 months it took to stitch, every colour and every
piece of the pattern was a joy to do. Is interesting to read all the
responses from the above question. Bye!
