Angela,
One thing I usually do to help with the centering of the pattern on fabric is
do not start in the center. I usually leave at 4 inches around eaxh side of
the pattern. I just measure down 4 inches and over 4 inches then start the
pattern in the upper left hand corner. I usually have more than enough fabric
left that it really does not matter if the pattern is exactly centered.
