There are no dumb questions. "Stripping" means pulling one strand from you stranded
floss
(such as DMC). You do this by holding the floss in one hand. Then gently separate one
strand out with the other hand.. Now pull on this strand while still holding onto your
floss. What will happen is that as you pull on the one strand, the rest of the floss is
wrinkling up. This is supposed to happen, so don't panic. When you've finished pulling
out the one strand, take the rest of the floss and gently straighten it out. Your
floss
is now ready for your next strand to be removed.
