I'm not really fine with the mouse in the logo. Xubuntu is related to
Xfce, but it's not only that. To me, using the mouse means "we've
packaged Xfce for ubuntu." What about all the other packages that come
with xubuntu-desktop?
Well that's true for ubuntu and kubuntu as well, not all desktop software in there
is strictly gnome or kde (firefox, OOo) although it is more so than with xfce.
that are not human circles at all for instance.
As Daniele said to me yesterday, Ubuntu has no gnome foot in its logo,
and Kubuntu no dragon.
true as well. But those could not be nicely blended with the ubuntu circle and they're not
as cute as the mouse ;). But as it has been said the gears are there to hint at kde.
But the running mouse in the ubuntu logo during Xfce start is really
great :)
yes, although I need to put back the original fading mouse as well which is just overwritten now.
indicator by itself,
Lets discuss that tomorrow during the meeting...
