The network manager icon continually disappears from Panel 1. In this
instance, I'm using Xubuntu 14.04.5 - up-to-date.
I am able to make the icon reappear with (thanks to a long-lost post that I
read somewhere):
sudo nm-applet &
That is followed by the message
~# nm-applet-Message: using fallback from indicator to GtkStatusIcon
I'd like to stop this nuisance of the disappearing access to this important
applet, but, how?
