I'm quite sure hat gwenview isn't the best choice, unfortunately I can't remember which one is the best in regards to user interface, features and speed, when opening the viewer. IIRC some provide more or less the same user interface and features, but some open very fast and others require some time to load and run. I once installed all available viewers and found out which one is the best in regards to the needs mentioned by the OP + speed, unfortunately I need a viewer that seldom, that I can't remember which one is the best. I usually load two or three viewers that don't do what I need and then stay with the one that is able to do it, even if it shouldn't be the most fast and not the one that fit best to my needs. My recommendation is to install at least all viewers available by official repositories... use Google https://www.google.de/?gws_rd=ssl#q=linux+image+viewers and the Ubuntu package search, to find out which are available for Ubuntu http://packages.ubuntu.com/ ...and then to test, which one fits best. When the test is finished, remove all other viewers. Default short-cuts usually could be changed. Regards, Ralf -- I was subscribed with a rocketmail address to xubuntu users. "Your current bounce score is 4.0 out of a maximum of 5.0." This caused: "** error occurred on SMTP session *** Error occurred while sending the message: 554 Transaction failed : Cannot send message due to possible abuse; please visit http://postmaster.yahoo.com/abuse_smtp.html for more information" This most likely is related to the well known authentication checks against DomainKeys or DKIM policy issue, some linux mailman mailing lists are able to handle ;). However, I changed my email address. -- xubuntu-users mailing list [email protected] Modify settings or unsubscribe at: https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/xubuntu-users
