[xul-talk] Server push and XUL

Has anyone tried this?  Does it make for a reasonable application?  My basic problem is that I have two different ways to do the same thing.   One is through a web interface one is a normal C++ application.  But they both need to reflect the same information has they can both be running at the same time.  Can XUL (or something else) be used to display changed information without the web user doing anything (having had its stated changed with the C++ program)?   Thanks Arin
