Instead of Virtual use Modes"1680x1050" and make sure your modeline is using 
the appropriate info Modeline info (ex. ModeLine "1680x1050" ) in the 
xorg.config file. The other thing I noticed in your log is I didn't see the 
radeon driver in use?!? Using xorgcfg ad xorgconfig should help you out.
