It uses the kernel interfaces instead of writing it's own as Xorg
used to, and since the kernel can obviously use the PCI bus.
Of course, none of this matters for the SPARC graphics drivers Sun
writes, since they use the traditional /dev/fb device interfaces
instead of trying to run a device driver in user space as x86 graphics
do, and don't really need PCI bus access.
