A "strings" on the Xorg binary (as of snv_90) suggests that it may know about ffb2+ (Creator 3D series 3).
Anyone tried that, say on a 1000/2000? I ordered a cheap used one and P/N 130-3034 13W3(m)-HD15(f) adapter, but it will be a few days before it arrives. Hoping to hook up my generic cheap Sylvania CRT (which does 1600x1200 nicely on my XVR-1000 using XSun) and see if the (slower at 3d!) ffb2+ at least does as well in terms of resolution and bandwidth. Incidentally, I'd put in a request for specs/docs on the XVR-1000, which finally appeared as "investigating" on http://wikis.sun.com/display/FOSSdocs/Home I hope that one or the other (or both, hate to toss the XVR-1000!) will keep my 2000 from being nearly useless in the not too distant future...
