Attaching /etc/X11/xorg.conf & /var/log/Xorg.0.log. Tried moving the i810
driver out the way and using the vesa driver. Based the modeline on some
settings that are rumoured to work for Linux. However Linux seemed to need a
patch to run 1280 * 768. Am looking at the patch to understand what it was
doing. Am I correct in setting up a monitor type with a modeline - sorry for
all the silly questions but its a while since I got down and dirty with my X
server.
