This is not a fatal condition. The config file NEVER exists during 
install time.

??? I'm assuming the Xorg server comes down and returns you to the shell 
prompt with a "#".

at this time, you can go to /var/log/Xorg.0.log  ( or 
/a/var/log/Xorg.0.log?)  and read some more info.
