No, I think I understood what you mean(t). Though I am not a native English speaker plus I almost don't get any sleep currently plus/because have time pressure (final pre-holidays homework horror), so chances are, one or another of my statements might have been potentially ambiguous. I just wanted to let you know, that it would not be impossible to offer that Xorg_sparc package for Sol8++, rather than Sol10++, just FYI. It might in fact be a good idea to build it on/for the old Sol8 target, because it will increase customer choice at practically no cost/no extra effort, by giving users of older Solaris releases down to Sol8_FCS that Xorg-[option] too.
