Question #219884 on Yade changed: https://answers.launchpad.net/yade/+question/219884
Chareyre posted a new comment: To make the answer short: no, the size of particles does not matter, but the number N of particles is the important parameter. So, multiplying the size of the sample by 10 and the size of particles by 10 (same N) is useless. However, a triaxial test with N=1000 is faster than N=10e6, of course (see Jan's explanations). -- You received this question notification because you are a member of yade-users, which is an answer contact for Yade. _______________________________________________ Mailing list: https://launchpad.net/~yade-users Post to : [email protected] Unsubscribe : https://launchpad.net/~yade-users More help : https://help.launchpad.net/ListHelp
