I am trying to perform a penetration test on soil. After reading the documentation, I can create a packing of soil particles as spheres and pack them in a cylinder or hyperboloid, etc. I need to model a rod or hammer which would apply a constant force on the soil particles or move with a constant velocity into the packing.
