WEll, I have these attacks while my yahoo messenger isw up and
running, even under different User ID's then this one. It comes thru
messenger in the form of message boxes, conference request, etc. I
even get them as offline messages when I'm not signed on. I don't
know if it is a denial of service attack too or some other form of
an attack, what I do know is I can get 3-7 messages per second
andthat tro date no pretection has stopped it from happening,
including the best, Zone Alarm-IMSecure or the new Zone Alarm Suite
which includes it in it. I don't do the yahoo chatroom thing at all
or he isn't on my yahoo friends list either. or at least noty that
I'm aware of.....could be under a "false flag" ID, pretending to be
someone else, not sure, that would explain his getting in whilst I
have my preferences set to exclude those not on my list?!
I get the attacks while I'm just doing my e-mails or othewr stuff
and have my messenger up and running, waiting for friends to come
online and say hi, also if attacked I understand it is possible to
enter someone's computer as if it were entered thru a trojan horse
or other cracking/hacking device.......
As always I am thankful for feedback and whatever insights you can
share with me as I'm not alone in this wave of wrath.

   ,Mark
