Messenger 5,6,0,1358 Module 5,6,0,503 At one time, and in previous versions, when in the main Messenger window one could click on Tools/Manage Friend List/Search for a Friend... Then one could type in various options such as name, Yahoo! ID, Gender, etc. This feature of Messenger actually used to work; the further one goes back (in versions) the better it worked, so it seems. Now, when searching for a female there are males scattered in the results. Looking for a male in Ft. Riley also returns males (and sometimes females) in Ft. Dix as well! Used to be able to put a search criteria in quotes to make the search more specific - sometimes that worked, sometimes not. Seeking for an age range of 43 - 49 sometimes worked, oftentimes returned 13-yr olds as well!!, as well as things not even asked for. The real question (and I've asked Yahoo! several times in the past 5 years) does anyone know if Yahoo! intends to fix this feature of Messenger to work as intended? I get from Yahoo! either a stony silence or a form response... "We are constantly striving to improve... (blah, blah, blah)" Netti, NETTI??
