What version of IE and Java are you using? I'm pretty sure that Yahoo Chat rooms are based on your IE browser and also Java. I don't think your YM program actually has anything to do with Yahoo Chat rooms other than as a method of entering them and then as a way of having private chats.

After I complete the captcha input, it acknowleges that, and I close out that window, but I'm still left seeing only the empty room. Others tell me I do in fact show up in the list in that room, but I can't see that - still just the empty room. I'm using v6 because it's the last version that works with my webcam (3Com Homeconnect). Can anyone else running v6 still get into chat rooms? --- In [email protected] <mailto:Yahoo_Messenger%40yahoogroups.com> , Tom <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> wrote: > > > August 29, 2007 on 9:32 am > <http://blog.messenger.yahoo.com/blog/2007/08/29/new-entry-process- > <http://blog.messenger.yahoo.com/blog/2007/08/29/new-entry-process-> for-chat-rooms/#comments> > > Hi everyone, > > To help reduce the number of automated bots, we've implemented a new > process for entering the Yahoo!
