I think it's Yahoo Servers. I have that problem from time to time but it usually resolves itself without any changes on my part. YM is kind of like the weather down here in New Orleans... wait 30 minutes and it will be different. The photo sharing can also be affected by firewalls on either user's computer.
Is this happening to every photo share you attempt or just with certain people? I'm not sure what Norton 360 is but if it has a built in firewall, it very well could be blocking things. I'm sorry you got hooked into Norton. At one time, when Peter Norton owned the company, it was a good software company but when Symantec bought it many years ago, their programs have become more and more bloated. When you finally get tired of it hogging all of your computer resources, there are many better and less intrusive (and FREE) programs out there that will do everything Norton or McAfee or any other Security Suite will do... better and for no cost. I run AVG Free Antivirus, Comodo Pro Firewall and Spyware Blaster (runs in background without using any resources as it makes changes to the registry to stop spyware from even being able to load on your computer (ALL OF THESE ARE FREE). I do pay for a good Anti-Spyware but I understand that AVG now has a FREE anti-spyware also so when my subscription expires in December, I will look seriously at the AVG Anti-Spyware. Those are the FOUR main proactive lines of defense everyone should have and then also run weekly scans with programs like Spybot and Ad-Aware (both FREE) and one of the many online security scans (also FREE). If everyone did this, eventually we wouldn't need all these security measures but as long as they have people on the net with unsecured computers, the rest of us have to run all these security programs to protect ourselves.
