Tuesday Sept 4th 9:47 PM Thanks, Lenny, for your response to my problem. I had read your message #5220 prior to posting my plea for help and did the complete uninstall as you suggested, including deleting the directory and anything else that even hinted of being a Yahoo file. I also cleaned the registry and did a clean install of v8.1. I still have the problem after all that. Now I will go backwards through each previous version, one by one until I get the problem solved. I think it was the v8.0? version just before this latest where "Phone Out" was perking along just file as we called our daughter in Manila every Saturday for the last few months. Yesterday I received an email from the YM business office and they said that a technician would be calling me today to try and figure out the problem. He never called. I'll keep you posted. Thanks and regards, Alan
