I hadn't heard of this type of software before so I decided to do a little Googling and found at least two other software makers that make a similar product besides the one mentioned in the reply below.

Sometimes, a program that purports to help will actually cause more harm than good... meaning it could contain spyware or trojans, etc. The think I don't like about any of these three sites and they do not warn people that reading other peoples conversations without their permission is probably VERY illegal. There is even a recent Supreme Court decision in the USA that employers may not even be able to read all things done by their employees on the company's computers which was legal in the past. Let us know which one you decide on and how it works out. It is a stand-alone program which requires no installation. It will find all the Yahoo Messenger IDs on your computer with a + sign beside each ID. No password or signup required. A word of caution: If there are others who use your computer, don't keep the program on your desktop. Best place to store it would be on a USB drive or stick or even a floppy disk! --- On Sat, 6/28/08, Waco Hale <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> wrote: From: Waco Hale <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> Subject: [Y!M] Searching Messenger Archives To: [email protected] Date: Saturday, June 28, 2008, 9:32 PM I know messenger archives are stored on my computer, is there any way to search for a word or words within them?
