[Y!M] webcam prob MacOS 10.4.11

have two versions  v.2.5 for Mac and v 3 beta.1 for Mac on same
machine. No prob with older version except that frame rate is way to
slow.  It is much better on the beta version.  Prob is that other are
unable to view
beta version.  Any solutions?
