Oh yeah.. one other thing. Your friend likely has a virus or malware that
is sending out that malicious link to people on his/her friends list. I
have several of my "friends" that have this virus/malware right now. Both
you and your friend need to run a litany of malware scans on your computers
to clear up any malware on them. Besides your normal antivirus, also
download and run http://www.MalwareBytes.com and a-Squared Free
http://www.emsisoft.com/en/software/free/ ... both of them are free and very
good at finding things that your antivirus might miss.

Pass this info on to your friend as well.

Subject: [Y!M] Re: My messenger was hacked

Mine was hacked a couple of years ago. I got a message from someone I knew
telling me they had a new site for their pictures and to check it out. I
clicked on it and I think the log in window for messenger came up, I logged
in...and that was all it took, GONE!

I did get it back, but had to make phone calls to Yahoo. I had to send them
a copy of my driver's license, and describe what I had in my profile. It
took a while and a huge hassle, but got it back.

BTW, I am the moderator, and I don't know what you meant about contacting
you at your email address. I mainly just approve members and messengers.
There are so many more people on this group who are much more knowledgable
than I am.
