Hi Michael, I saw you also posted in the other thread, VanessaChaves..., where you also mentioned about not being able to IM your Uncle in Iraq, but I'm glad you started a new thread. It's good to put a subject so I am putting Michael Hoops behind the (unknown) that showed up when Yahoo Groups forwarded the email just to keep the thread separated and intact.
Give us MUCH more info. Which version of YM? To find this, click on the Help Menu, then About YM. Have you been using YM on this computer or is this a new install or a new install of an updated version? Exactly what is YM doing? Are you able to sign into YM but then you cannot IM anyone or is it just your Uncle in Iraq? Or, are you not even able to sign into YM?
