What computer operating system? Windows XP, Vista, Windows 7, Mac, etc. I'm presuming you know how to navigate to the Control Panel and Add/Remove Programs in Windows XP or Programs and Features in Vista (not sure what it's called in 7 but probably the same as Vista).
Or.. if you have a Mac, it's completely different and the app just needs to be deleted. Do you remember what version of YM you were using? 8x, 9x and 10x are all still active and supported by Yahoo right now. I've got a lot more questions but I'll wait for the above info.
