Wanted to give you some more context:
So we have a regularly scheduled ATSv2 community call. Folks from Hortonworks,
Cloudera, Twitter, Huawei dial into the call regularly (occasionally Microsoft
folks as well). Usually ideas/discussions that surface in these calls translate
into jira issues and we then have the actual discussions on jiras & decision
making as well on jiras.
As you might already be aware, the atsv2 contributors have been occupied with
trunk merge work and the more recent branch2 merge work in the last few weeks,
so, for this particular effort of using hbase2.x in Timeline Service v2, we
have not yet geared up 100% towards that. Hence a few jiras exist (based on
what [~haibo.chen] has worked on in the past) and some others are yet to be
filed.
