Carlo Curino commented on YARN-4248:

I will address the QA issues next, but I have a question for the community:

In the tests I am currently using a .json file to feed in reservations to
submit/delete/update. Discussing with [~subru] we are uncertain whether that is
best (as one can easily see the full json format), or have the same examples
being generated programmatically as part of the tests (where one could see how
to programmatically generate the right json format in Java).

Any preference on this?

> This JIRA tracks work to extend the RMWebService to support REST APIs to
> submit/update/delete reservations. This will ease integration with external
> tools that are not java-based.
