Neo Trade unions are not a product of liberation struggle only in South Africa. They are a product of the unity of the oppressed humans who are exploited by their fellow for the benefit of the few humans in the form of economic, social & political dominance through the state.
For as long as there remains a private property and the state the protects it, the trade unions will always be there. Their relation to the ANC as the alliance is a result of ANC 's own adoption of the freedom charter that proclaims the universal adoption of basic human rights, the creation of a people' (irrespective of race & gender or age) government for all the people, the need for housing, health, education, jobs, security & wealth for all who live on this wealthy land. The alliance is not at all based on the percieved friendship between Zuma, Vavi, Nzimande or Malema. It is a historic alliance that is neither based on the sentiments of rhetoric, rather the ideals of a free society & respect for human life and dignity at all levels.
