My Leader, Please do not generalise when dealing with crony corrupt individuals. The ANC and the Leagues together with the Alliances are serious in fighting this cancer that is deep rooted in our society. One of the noble thing you should read when Analysing SON, is that the President make reference to the urgency at which the electorate want changes in their own lives. But further he emphasised the need to root out corruption in our workplace and all areas that society associate with our broader Progressive Movements. It start somewhere this thing to root out corruption, 1st we should unmask ourselves and call a spade a spade not being afraid that we will be attacked. Hiding under suedo-name of Frank talk does not assist to know exactly what that our people want. I am Cde Tom and such put my view straight not being afraid of anyone. A thug in our mist should be told to run for his life as we embark of establishing street committees, work committee and also as we respond to the call to report any form of corruption in Public and Private Services .
I believe if you are serious about what you are writing here, there is nothing that stop you to name those individuals. But to generalised about the collective leadership deployed in government now might be problematic my leader.Look at how quick my Gauteng premier did to crack the whip on those that seems to see public deployment as gravy train. She insisted on the MEC of Agriculture to resign due to her conduct and that how serious the ANC is in the fight against corruption. It all start with us, ourselves, our brothers and sisters, our relatives and friends we live with who are embarking on all these activities. We should remove this middle man that seeks to say it is fine to hide your identity when you want to raise issues. I am not saying then we should tolerate what you alleges, but say lets critique where critique is warranted. The current administration is so new that you cannot tell me in this space of time you have assess, who is corrupt and who is not. Lets give them support and also lets play our part as the watch dogs. I am saying it cannot be correct for us to seat and say we will not talk about this matter until such time when opposition start to make noise. Lets critiques our own deployees and lets also critiques the structures we put in place to fight this corruption, nepotism, mediocrity and other forms of ill that are spreading like cancer in our social lives. If we do not do that we will fail our masses in fighting poverty that has become the current disaster facing our country. The fact that the disparities between the Rich and the poor has widen and continue to widen should inform us of the primary task of all that strive for social justice to stand up and be counted and be known of their position.
