Comrades, I would like to voice my disatisfaction regarding the functioning of YCL Branches.One has observed that our braches are not effective as they should be campare to NEC.One may therefore question if the people who are elected to lead those branches are aware of what is expected from them.
In most cases we appoint them to lead our branches, but olny to find that they do not know their respectives roles.We appoint them and the PEC or NEC never gave them some sort of training or political classes to make them aware of their roles. Comrades it is very important,very important that we have strong YCL and branch levels,people will be able to articulate the agenda communist agenda. Comrades, some branches they do not even have "Programme of Action" for the year.If they have programme of action, it will just be on paper. I will therefore suggest that those comrades who get to be appointed as branch leaders be given political classes.We need to develop leaders that will take the party forward in achieving the its goals.
