Unfortunately Contestation for leadership is part of the living organisation
and the pro X and Pro Z would always be part of our politics .

a bid of backround in 1952 chaotic ANC conference where more than five
nominations were made for pResident General after failed attempt by the
leadership to come up with possible replacement of Dr Moroka.

Chaotic conference in 1930 between the communists and the anti communist
led by Pixley ka Seme resulting in breking up of two wings of the congress
movent as Joshua Gumede indicated in 1927 and serious divisions in Natal
and transvaal.

1958 Transvaal conference between the loyalist and africanist ugly battle
over credentials results in formation of PAC.
Cape conference in 1958 as weel see the serious physical fights between the
Loyalist and the africanist.

The Expulsion of Tennyson Makiwane and eight others for opposing the white
messiahs of SACP in the congrees movement in 1975.

The heated debate over expuslsion of communists in the congress movement
led by Cde Nelson Mandela in 1940's.

1917 Annual conference resulting in Dube and Selope thema being forced to
resign over the Congress movent stand on goverment policy of segregation.

And many other unknown conferences.

Wether this was battle over idelogical stand or not but it comes down to
people having different views over who is suitable to lead at certain
conditions.
