I do not know where to start chief as you asked a question and you jumped to
other issues,

Workers do have a right to strike based on the dispute striking for and you
have to get a certificate for that through the LRA channels and housing
subsidy you can strike for it as it is part of your earnings.

The working class is trapped as we so not qualify for subsidy from goverment
due to salary bracket and would like to urge the trade unions through the
federation to come up with a housing co-operative or housing scheme for
workers as we know that most of the unions do have the investment companies,
we could also get low interest rate credit from the banks if we could use
our pension/ provident fund as collateral.

In other countries receptionists/ clerks are regarded as essential job but
here in South Africa that is not the case an issential job is the job that
could compromise the safety, health security or safety of people and these
people could only be active in the marches outside their working hours in
terms of the law.

I would like to support you on the issue of media of the working class and
the poor as we do not get enough coverage from the capitalist media and they
are bias in terms of showing our activities
