*Malema link in 'terrifying home raid'*

Julius Malema's friends and Limpopo youth leaders allegedly pretended to be police officers and raided a political opponent's home in the early hours, "terrorising" his mother and two sisters.

This apparently followed a brawl in a bar.

The 50-year-old mother, Sheila Sekgobela, claimed police refused to investigate after the ANC Youth League's Limpopo provincial secretary, Jacob Lebogo, a childhood friend of Malema's; league official Josias "Stalin" Buthane; and two unidentified men turned her house upside down.

She claimed one of the unidentified men wielded a gun and asked to see her son Lazarus Mushi, who'd apparently been involved in a brawl with the ANCYL leaders in Polokwane earlier in the evening.

Lebogo admitted they had gone to the house looking for Mushi, but denied terrorising the family.

The fist fight took place at a bar last Thursday during a party attended by top provincial ANCYL officials and Malema.

But Malema told The Star "there was no incident" when he left.

Three witnesses confirmed the fight.
